- you ever feel like that?
you ever feel like that?
that nagging sense of unease
“That can’t be right…”
It was my phone, showing me the ugly truth about my screen time:
(5:34 hours per day of mindlessly scrolling).
Hard to run from that.
Which is exactly what I’d been doing till now.
I’d justified my behavior by telling myself that I needed to scroll the timeline. I knew that in order to be a good content creator, I had to be a smart content consumer.
But, in all honesty?
I was numbing myself.
I was letting the days roll by, while avoiding the REAL work.
Not because I didn’t care, but because caring felt too overwhelming.
You ever get like that?
Where the weight of everything feels so heavy your only option is to check out completely?
I do.
And for a long time, that’s all I did.
Numb out. Distract myself. Pretend the weight wasn’t there.
But here’s the thing.
Numbing is a ‘bandaid’ fix.
It works temporarily (until it doesn’t).
The next day, you wake up with that same nagging sense of unease... only now it’s even bigger. And it keeps coming back, even though you’ve tried every damn time to bury it.
That’s when it hit me.
Numbing isn’t the solution, its the problem.
It’s like covering a wound without cleaning it first. The infection festers underneath, quietly growing until it’s too big to ignore.
I’ve seen countless clients go through the same thing.
Over and over and over again.
I mean, I get it…
When life feels overwhelming, we reach for the quickest fix—social media, Netflix, food, whatever keeps us distracted. It’s what our brains are wired to do automatically.
But it doesn’t make the problem go away.
Real healing comes when we stop avoiding what’s nagging us and start leaning into it.
Instead of numbing ourselves we need to tune into what’s really happening in our bodies.
The tension, the anxiety, the brain fog—it’s all information waiting to be unlocked.
Which is where Somatic Therapy comes in.
It’s a practice that helps us feel again, without running from our emotions.
By listening to your body and releasing the tension stored deep inside, you can reset your nervous system and build resilience… from the inside out.
Because here’s the truth (that most of us already know but choose to ignore).
Life’s challenges aren’t going anywhere, but your capacity to deal with them can change.
And in my upcoming course — The 20-Minute Neural Reset — I’ll show you exactly how to do that.
It’s not about making the bad stuff disappear.
It’s about creating space for your body and mind to process and release stress, so you can face your life with more clarity and courage.
The best part?
It all happens in just 20 minutes a week.
At this point, I’ve helped hundreds of people experience the magic of Somatic healing, so I’m stoked to be sharing this with you in a quick and actionable course.
So, if you’re ready to eliminate anxiety, brain fog and overwhelm from the inside out?
Best,
