Wow, I need to address this

Yesterday, I got this response from a subscriber:

"I've really liked your content but your last few messages bringing in your girlfriend and calling it her content have been confusing. I'm all for love and power couples but this - for me at least - came out of nowhere and it makes me feel less solid in what you are offering. Just two cents."

Thank you for this.

And to everyone reading: this is exactly the kind of feedback I need to hear.

I brought Kimia into my content without properly introducing her or explaining why.

So let me fix that right now.

Who is Kimia?

Yes, she's my partner. But she's also certified and trained in Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) by Dr. Howard Schubiner (one of the leading experts in treating chronic pain and mind-body conditions).

And that’s not all…

Kimia is a certified Neuroplastic symptom recovery practitioner, trained in Emotional Awareness and Expression Therapy (EAET), and is a 500hr YTT certified Yoga instructor…

Basically, Kimia helps people regulate their nervous systems with the most breakthrough techniques presented by modern neuroscience…

…And she’s helped dozens of people so far.

Her work focuses on helping people understand that chronic pain is often our nervous system stuck in a protective mode. PRT retrains the brain to recognize safety, which allows the body to finally let go of chronic symptoms.

Why I'm bringing her into my content:

Because what I teach (somatic nervous system work) and what she teaches (pain reprocessing) are two sides of the same coin. I also have somatic exercise breakdowns inside Brain Based Healing.

I focus on releasing trauma stored in the body.

She focuses on retraining the brain to stop creating false pain signals.

Together?

That's a complete approach to healing.

I may collaborate with Kimia on specific content about chronic pain, because that's her area of expertise…

…But when I do, I'll be crystal clear about it.

And anything I share will stand on its own merit, not just because she's "my girlfriend." Because she’s literally a leading expert in the field.

This subscriber said it perfectly:

This came out of nowhere and made things feel less solid.

I hear you. I don't want that.

So thank you for calling it out.

If you have concerns or questions about anything I'm doing, hit reply. I read everything, and feedback like this helps me serve you better.

For now I highly recommend you join others in Brain Based Healing.

With love and healing,

Brian Maierhofer (Professional Human)
