tools to reset your life
the time has come
Hello friends,
Are you feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or just downright lost lately? You're not alone.
In today's fast-paced world, the rates of anxiety, depression, and burnout have skyrocketed.
When you’ve been in this work for as long as I have, the patterns (problems and solutions) become abundantly clear.
The Big Three
1) Anxiety
Anxiety can be paralyzing. Your mind is a tangled mess of worry and what-ifs. It makes the simplest tasks feel like a mountain of challenge. It steals your joy, your energy, and your sense of control, leaving you feeling trapped in a constant state of unease.
2) Depression
Depression casts a shadow over every aspect of your life, draining the vibrancy from your world and leaving you feeling numb and hopeless. It saps your motivation, your enthusiasm, and your ability to connect with others, leaving you feeling isolated and alone.
3) Burnout and Overwhelm
Burnout is more than just feeling tired – it's a total depletion of your physical, emotional, and mental resources. It's the feeling of being stretched too thin, with nothing left to give, and no end in sight. Life is moving and you can’t catch up.
I’m not interested in helping you manage these symptoms. I’m interested in helping you eliminate them.
Same problems, same solutions
1) Reconnection with your body
Tuning into the physical sensations of your distress helps you uncover the root cause of anxiety, depression, and burnout. It is here that we learn to translate the language of the body (which you’ve most likely been avoiding for some time). This is the best way to rediscover your true needs.
2) Release Pent-Up Tension
Anxiety, depression, and burnout manifest as tension and constriction in the body. You need practical tools to release this pent-up tension, allowing you to let go of physical and emotional holding patterns that no longer serve you. In somatic therapy, this is referred to as “discharging.” You saw me engaged in this exercise in the loom video last week.
3) Cultivate Inner Resilience
At the root of these challenges sits “learned helplessness.” The belief that you have no influence over your life or the way you feel. Cultivating empowerment and inner resilience allows you to get back in the drivers seat. It’s important to recognize that you are the author of your journey. Talk therapy does not always offer this, in fact it can breed dependence.
The time has come
Over the last three months I’ve packaged my insight and experience into a 30-day course.
It’s designed to help you heal and reconnect to your natural vitality.
Each day has:
Education
Journal Prompts
Tasks and Exercises
The skills stack into a full somatic therapy practice (the one I’ve used and cultivated over the last 3 years).
I put my blood, sweat, and tears into this course and couldn’t be more excited to share it with you.
You still have time to get in on the early bird sale (price raises Wednesday).
Get it here.
Best,
Brian Maierhofer
